Hanna II - Authorized Ceiling

The Transport Canada paper work has yet to be prepared.
The most recent approval was for FL180, or 15,000ft

Assuming we obtain approval from Transport Canada for Flight Level 180, using 3,000ft as the general altitude of the launch site that works out with a bit of margin to a barometric altitude of 15,000ft AGL. Since the barometric altitude changes depending on the temperature, the RSO will provide guidance on the actual altitude allowed.

Note that our general limit for this new launch site is 10,000 feet, but higher flights will be considered if the weather conditions are suitable. If your rocket will exceed the 10,000 foot guidance, be sure to check with the RSO or LCO to get the latest AGL limit. Best bet is to give your rocket a 10% buffer so as not to exceed the ceiling.

Due to the size of the recovery zone, the altitude the range will support will be determined the day of the launch. Please be prepared and have your descent rates calculated ahead of time.
