There is no age restriction to launch a model rocket with a motor class A to G. However to launch high powered rockets with motors of class H to O, members must be 18 years of age or older and hold the appropriate certifications. Individuals aged 14 to 17 may fly high powered rockets as Junior members but must have an adult sponsor who holds at least the same certifications being attempted.
