Sullivan Lake XVII - September 17 - 19
The launch paperwork has been submitted to Transport Canada. We have asked for a base authorization of 20,000 feet AGL with windows to 40,000 feet as indicated in the tables below.
Flights above 25,000 feet require road closures, please arrange in advance to have four volunteers prepared for that duty. Communications with each of the four positions is essential... radio is preferred (we have some HAMs), but cellphones will do in a pinch.
Note that the barometric altitude can change depending on the temperature, the RSO or LCO can provide guideline AGL altitudes on request throughout the launch. If your rocket is likely to approach these altitudes, be sure to check with the RSO or LCO to get the latest AGL limit.
